Hometex Winter 2025
The textile industry gathering
Hometex Winter is entering its next round: on November 19 and 20, 2025, the autumn trade fair will open its doors in Hall 21 of the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center. As in previous years, the 2025 winter edition promises to be a strong showcase for the bedding, home and home textiles industry.
“Hometex has established itself as a two-pronged format,” explains Thomas Fehr, initiator of the trade fair and now part of SN-Verlag, which has been organizing the fair since the beginning of 2025. “In the summer, the focus is clearly on sleep systems and furniture, while in the fall it is on textile ranges. The concept has proven itself, but it must be continuously developed.”
Platform for spring and summer collections
With its November date, Hometex Winter offers an ideal opportunity to present the collections for spring and summer. “At the winter fair, the stands tend to be somewhat smaller and more minimalist,” explains Lisa Brokbals, project manager at Hometex. “But that’s exactly what gives it its character: it’s a focused platform for new products that specialist retailers want to see at the right time.”
The bedding industry in particular benefits from this: numerous well-known manufacturers use the trade fair to present their upcoming ranges and get specialist retailers up to speed with the latest trends at an early stage. Among those attending in 2025 are Bassetti, Estella, Elegante, Centa-Star, Hahn, Vossen, Egeria, and Pad, who will be presenting their latest highlights in the areas of bed linen, bedding, terry toweling, and blankets.
Competence areas for carpets and fabrics
Hometex Winter 2025 will once again place a special focus on fitted carpets – a segment that has recently gained significantly in importance. Renowned suppliers such as Paulig, Theo Keller, and Golze will be there, as well as new exhibitors such as Mirzai and Heitmann Felle.
Visitors can also expect a wide range of products in the fabrics and curtains sector: in addition to well-known names such as Gerster, Neutex, and Verdi, new suppliers such as Gardinia, Luxan, and Omega will also be presenting their products.
Free of charge, comfortable, collegial
One of the trade fair’s hallmarks is its all-inclusive package: admission, parking, and catering, which this time includes a large central area and a smaller bistro, are free of charge for all visitors. “That’s part of the event’s DNA,” emphasizes Fehr. “Guests should be able to concentrate fully on professional exchanges.”
A highlight in November is the award ceremony for the “Company of the Year,” which Haustex presents in cooperation with the market research institute United Research. The award honors manufacturers who, according to specialist retailers, are particularly impressive in the product areas of bedding, bed linen, mattresses, sleeping systems, and terry toweling. Afterwards, the trade fair invites guests to a get-together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Hometex Summer 2025
Record attendance and clear positioning
Hometex Summer 2025 sent out a strong signal with a new visitor record: A good 2,300 trade visitors flocked to the important industry event in Bad Salzuflen last week, confirming its status as the leading trade fair for the bedding and home textiles industry. An international share of almost 20 percent – mainly from Benelux, Switzerland and Austria – demonstrated the growing importance of the trade fair beyond national borders. Buyers and representatives of all relevant industry associations rounded off the high-quality visitor profile.
Hometex Summer 2025 was also the first edition of the trade fair to be organized by Hamburg-based SN-Verlag, which also publishes the trade magazine Haustex. A major part of the success of this year’s Hometex is due to the commitment of Thomas Fehr, the initiator of the trade fair and now a member of the SN-Verlag team, and project manager Lisa Brokbals. “Thomas Fehr and Lisa Brokbals have contributed significantly to the fact that we were able to present Hometex at such a high level this year with a great deal of organizational talent and a keen sense for the needs of the industry,” emphasizes Tim Steinert from SN-Verlag.
A total of 186 exhibitors, including secondary exhibitors, presented themselves over two days on an area of more than 20,000 square meters – spread over three halls for the first time. “The newly added Hall 22.1 with numerous manufacturers of sleep systems was very well received. Companies such as Dormiente and Meise Möbel have already indicated on site that they would like to exhibit there again next year,” explains Thomas Fehr.
The next date for Hometex Sommer has already been set: on June 24 and 25, 2026, Bad Salzuflen will once again be the meeting place for the industry. And interest continues to grow: “In addition to the current exhibitors, several other manufacturers from the bedroom and living room sectors have already registered their interest for Summer 2026,” notes Lisa Brokbals.
Prior to this, Hometex Winter will take place on a smaller scale on November 19 and 20. Sleeping systems are not expected to be represented there. Instead, the focus will be on fashion ranges, among other things.
